Yes — shower and exfoliate the day before your appointment. Avoid showering the day of your tan so your skin's natural oils have time to settle and create the ideal surface for even absorption. Arrive with bare, product-free skin for the best result.

Absolutely. Our solutions are formulated with skin-safe DHA and nourishing ingredients suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin. If you have a known allergy or skin condition, we recommend a patch test before your first full session. Just let us know when you book and we'll take extra care.

Dry skin fades faster, so daily moisturizing is the single best thing you can do to extend your tan. Our Rapid Solution option develops in 2–4 hours and lasts just as long.

No — when applied by a professional, a spray tan should look natural and sun-kissed, not orange. At Bronze Society MI, we custom-blend solutions to match your skin tone and desired depth. The orange look comes from low-quality solutions or improper application. Our hand-applied airbrush technique ensures seamless, streak-free results every time.

Moisturize every day with an oil-free lotion — hydrated skin holds color longer. Avoid long hot showers, chlorinated pools, and exfoliating scrubs while your tan is active. Pat dry instead of rubbing after showers. Staying hydrated and using a tan-extending moisturizer can push your results well past the 10-day mark.

With our standard solution, wait at least 8 hours before your first rinse — overnight is ideal. If you choose the Rapid Solution upgrade, you can rinse in as little as 2–4 hours. Your first shower should be a quick, lukewarm rinse with no soap on the tanned areas. The bronzer will wash off and reveal your true tan underneath — don't panic, that's normal!

Yes — spray tanning is widely considered a safe alternative to UV tanning. The active ingredient, DHA (dihydroxyacetone), is FDA-approved for external skin application and reacts with the amino acids in the top layer of your skin to create a temporary color. It does not penetrate deeper layers and does not carry the UV radiation risks associated with sun exposure or tanning beds. We use premium, skin-nourishing solutions free from harsh chemicals.
